For I think what is the first time in four years we got measurable snowfall here in NC. It worked out to be a wonderful snow day off because Bill was already scheduled to be off and I was given the option to work from home. We had a great day together of doing some much needed cleaning up of the house and watching inauguration coverage.
Here is a picture that I had to take of Firetower Rd at 5:00 (rush hour!).
This is the view from our front porch. I think we ended up with somewhere between 4-6 inches. I am glad we got snow, but I am glad it will be gone soon too!

One of my friend's took a picture of Firetower, too! I CANNOT believe it! I am torn between wishing the snow would stay..and wishing it was gone!! I hate this in between time with the muddy slush!
