I have been really bad about blogging. I think I have been rally struggling with my purpose and how/why/what/when/where of blogging. I love to read other's blogs and have been inspired by so many, that I just haven't added anything in awhile.
I hate New Year's resolutions but I guess you could say that I have become one of the millions of people who decide to become healthier at the start of the new year. I did this last year (and perhaps a few before that) and had some pretty good success in the past. Last year was my best year where I was able to control my blood sugar and cholesterol levels to avoid medication and other complications. I kicked butt in boot camp and made some great new friends in the process. Then I was blessed with this great new job that was the answer to my prayers and the perfect fit for me. I struggled with the stress of a new job and juggling my new normal schedule and my health and fitness kind of fell by the wayside.
Tomorrow I embarq on a new project that I am a bit worried about. My coworkers and I have joined a program called Live Healthy Greenville where we "compete" with other groups in the community as well as support each other in fitness, diet and other areas to improve our health. I know I have fallen off the wagon in the past and hope to turn things around soon and get back to where I was last spring. Boot Camp here I come again!!
I'll try and keep you posted, but if I am now around, I am trying to be a better person inside and out and it may take me away from here.
Love you guys!

Good luck Kim! I'll keep you in my prayers! It's hard to be committed to being healthy when everything and everyone around you screams to be "unhealthy"!!! You did a fantastic job at boot camp, so you just get back up on that wagon girlfriend!!!!
Oh wow! You are brave!!! You are also inspiring me to get on the wagon too! :-D
Praying for you, and keep us posted on your progress.
It was very nice meeting you today as well.
Blessings, jenn
Kim, I wish you all the best in your journey to a healthier life! It is a true committment to make...so even if you have a tough day or two, don't kick yourself for it - just jump right back up and start again! You can do it! I can't wait to hear about your progress!!! Good luck!! :)
