Nameless Soldier

This past week has been a fun one of vacation. I'll have to share more details of all of the fun we had later. One of our stops was in Fayetteville at the Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum. One particular display really got to me about rescuing hostages in Panama. The soldiers were not allowed to wear any visible identification do to the extreme danger of the operation. All they had on them was their blood type written on their shoulder so in case they got hurt they could help them and then figure out who it is later.

WOW!! This really got me thinking about isn't this how we should be as Christians? Too many times we only help out someone in need if prompted or only help someone that is in our close circle of friends. If we all were able to take time out to think less of our own identity and help out someone just because they needed it at the time...think of how awesome our world would be! These soldiers do it every day and we make excuses of why we can't help out every once in awhile.
