Late Night Thinking...

This has been such an awesome week that I am having trouble getting to sleep tonight thinking of all of the blessings that I have been given in such a short period of time.

  • We came off a great vacation with lots of time with the family.
  • My grandmother came through her knee surgery with flying colors and is getting better every day.
  • I started my "new" job this week. I have been involved with the RMH for over 7 years in many different capacities. I absolutely love this place and will probally always be involved in some way shape or form because I so believe in what they do. I was presented with an opportunity for advancement and to be more involved. Of course I jumped at the chance, but had to wait patiently as the details were sorted out. I spent so much time during this waiting period praying and trying to figure out if this was the right thing to do. This week was full of wonderful miracles for our families in the shape of healing and restoration as well as some INCREDIBLE new opportunities for us to serve more people in the community. I was humbled to be able to be there to witness and be a part of the celebrations for these blessings. Thank you God I am in right place to help your people.
  • Tommorrow (or I guess today now) is our first day of rest or Sabbath. This is probally the first time we have tried to do this as a family where we take one day out of the week and make it different from the rest in order to not distract us from God and the blessings he has given us. We have planned all week to be sure we both have this time to spend as a family. We have so much to be thankful for, that it is important for us to do this!!

Night night...I think I can get to my rest now! God Rocks Doesn't he??

He certainly does. we all need a reminder of that now and then. So glad you planned for rest, how did it work out? I have trouble sitting still for 5 minutes :) but then you already knew that!

We did pretty good and perhaps got a bit too much of the rest (umm napping) in. I guess we really needed it.

BTW I love your energy, so don't stop. It keeps us all going :-)

I have to agree, God does Rock! And I'm extremely encouraged and proud of you guys for putting into practice the stuff we talk about on Sundays. Thanks for doing all you can to follow God (and to help out at Discovery - you rock too!)
